History of EPSILON OMEGA

The Epsilon Omega Alumni Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. was chartered on December 5, 1976, in Atlanta, Georgia, and is the fifth-oldest alumni chapter of the organization.

The alumni chapter was established by the honorable Patrick Connor, Edward Wood, Edgar Johnson, and the Late Fred Lee. These visionary brothers were united by the call to expand the fraternity in the South by overseeing the establishment of undergraduate chapters at the local collegiate level.

As a result of their dedicated efforts and strategic leadership, Iota Phi Theta saw the rise of the Alpha Gamma Chapter at Morris Brown University, the Alpha Pi Chapter at Morehouse College, and the Epsilon Beta Chapter at Clark Atlanta University.

Epsilon Omega has continued to be a driving force in the Atlanta community by not only working with other NPHC organizations but also joining forces with local businesses and city officials as well. It is the commitment of Epsilon Omega to support our city and strengthen the various communities who call our beloved Atlanta home.
